After the gradual easing of the Corona regulations in Austria, preparations for the 2nd W3+ Fair Rhine Valley are once again picking up full speed. With its event date in September, the fair will be the start of the second half of the business year. The new accompanying high-tech congress, N-Tec Talks, will focus on…
Exhibitors of the leading world trade fair cancel participation / Industry survey started / Exhibitors and associations back decision Messe Stuttgart has been involved in intensive talks with the exhibitors of VISION in recent weeks. "In the discussions held it became apparent that VISION cannot be held this year with the usual quality, particularly due…
The fast-growing deployment of optical fiber in industrial, avionic, military and transportation applications are leading to the increasing use of optical connectors that provide low insertion loss, ease-of-use and, more important, serviceability. Connector contaminants are the leading cause of power loss and signal degradation, often requiring the continuous need for cleaning. For this reason, DIAMOND…
The combination of high resolution event timing & correlation, time-to-digital conversion with multi-trigger delay generator is nowadays widely used in physics, bio and material science experiments. The ID900 Time Controller Series is an ideal central platform for such laboratory experiments. It combines the functionalities of several electronic devices into a single and flexible platform: time-tagger,…
The electronic autocollimators in the TriAngle series are optical measuring instruments for high-precision and non-contact angle measurements on optical or mechanical parts. They are ideally suited for measuring and alignment applications in the mechanical engineering industry as well as in optical manufacturing. Modern manufacturing processes are increasingly implementing a high degree of automation, which requires…
TOPTICA Photonics has decided to rebrand its daughter company eagleyard Photonics into TOPTICA eagleyard. Eagleyard Photonics is a leading manufacturer of high end laser diodes in the red/infrared regime (630 nm – 1120 nm). eagleyard became part of the TOPTICA Photonics group in February 2013 and has since continued to operate separately under its…
The new MICA20CS actuator is now joining the standard MICA™ catalogue family (« Moving Iron Controllable Actuator »). It is the smallest of MICA™ flexure bearing linear actuators, optimized for ultra-long lifetime, and high electrical efficiency with very low heat losses. It has been sized for a frictionless stroke of 4mm with infinite fatigue life, thanks to CTEC…
FLC offers Free Space Narrow Linewidth Laser Diodes designed to meet Raman spectroscopy requirements. Raman spectroscopy is a spectroscopic technique typically used to determine vibrational modes of molecules. It is commonly used in chemistry to provide a structural fingerprint by which molecules can be identified. It is based on inelastic scattering (or Raman scattering) of…
It seems that the entire first half of 2020 will be dominated by the subject of SARS-CoV-2 virus. Also in Poland the problem is serious and the daily number of new cases is not decreasing so far. By this newsletter, we would like to inform you that the Inframet company works without any disturbances. From…
Laser World of Photonics China, including the machine vision technology and application conference, is to go ahead from 3 to 5 July in Shanghai, the show organisers have confirmed. It is the first physical show in the machine vision calendar that has said it will go ahead, as many countries remain in lockdown during the…
