Aerotech named one of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s top manufacturing innovators
Aerotech Inc., a global leader in precision motion control and automation systems, today announced that it has recently been named as one of five finalists for the 2019 Pittsburgh Tech 50 Awards in the Innovator of the Year: Manufacturing category. Tech 50 is an awards program that honors and recognizes the top-50 member companies of the Pittsburgh Technology Council (PTC) across technology-focused industries.
“We are proud to be recognized for our manufacturing achievements,” said Aerotech President and CEO Mark Botos. “With our precision motion control solutions, our customers can automate the manufacturing of anything from medical devices to computer chips with a level of precision that is 100,000 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Only a handful of companies in the world can achieve precision motion control on a nanometer scale, and our product quality and reliability is unmatched.”
Aerotech solves the most demanding motion control challenges by offering a comprehensive line of standard products as well as custom-engineered solutions. With these highly durable, flexible technologies, Aerotech minimizes risk for customers by serving as a single source for automation solutions while providing application, design and implementation support.
For more than 20 years, the PTC’s annual Tech 50 Awards recognize Southwestern Pennsylvania’s most successful, innovative and thought-leading technology companies, which have become the backbone of Pittsburgh’s new economy. The awards represent transformative technology centers of excellence with companies at all stages of growth. This year's event will be held on September 25 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh, where the winners will be announced.
