Photonics Industries International launched DP MAX Series

Photonics Industries International Inc. launched the DP MAX Series, a new family of diode pulse pumped, Q-switched nanosecond lasers designed for high-energy industrial and scientific applications requiring stability, efficiency, and long-term reliability.

DP MAX is a modern, sealed, monolithic laser platform that combines high pulse energy, compact form factors, and advanced control capabilities in a fully integrated system without a pumping lamp. The series was developed to meet increasing customer demand for higher throughput, cost of ownership, reliability, simplified integration, and predictable performance in production and research environments.

The DP MAX Series spans operating points from 200 mJ at repetition rates up to 400 Hz to multi-joule (Up to 3 J) output at lower repetition rates (10 Hz), supporting a broad range of applications including Semiconductor annealing and inspection, Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy), and Ti:Sapphire pumping. Typical pulse widths range from approximately 8 ns to 15 ns, with stable multimode beam delivery optimized for robust processing.

“DP MAX was engineered to deliver high pulse energy while improving efficiency, stability, and usability at the system level,” said Matt Johnson, U.S. Sales Manager at Photonics Industries. “It reflects what customers are asking for today: compact platforms, integrated functionality, and dependable long-term operation.”

DP MAX incorporates Photonics Industries’ expertise in harmonic generation and system integration. Fully integrated optional harmonics (532 nm, 355 nm, 266 nm, and optional deep-UV configurations) are supported across the platform, with automated harmonic tuning to simplify setup and ensure repeatable conversion efficiency.
