Who We’re Looking For
We have an immediate opportunity for a BOM (Bill of Materials) Coordinator. The BOM (Bill of Materials) Coordinator will generate all the process flows (Masters) ensuring a 100% correct product to order delivery. This includes working with product engineers, program managers, sales and process engineers on a timely basis to help us meet our On Time Delivery. The BOM (Bill of Materials) Coordinator will assess the costs of the flow, compare the quotation and evaluate the difference with the Program Manager. The role will include the responsibility of generating training plans for operators.

- Requirements
- Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the ERP Visual Engineering Masters to reflect the correct product flow.
- Obtain the signatures to ensure that the flow is approved by the appropriate process engineers and product engineers.
- Revise the Masters to reflect any design or process changes to ensure that we achieve a 100% correct product to order delivery.
- Understand the resource definitions and how they are to be applied to the Masters to correctly account for the process step costs.
- Review the cost assessment to ensure that the Master correctly reflects the product costs.
- Work with the Program Management team to ensure that there is a match between the quotation tool and the master flow.
- Generate Masters to support engineering experiments.
- Utilize techniques that guarantee error free flows.
- Work with the planning team as needed to ensure that the work orders are 100% correct.
- Work with the sales/sales support team to ensure that the Masters accurately reflect the sales order.
- Work with operators, inspectors and supervisors to ensure that the masters are understandable and reflect what is needed.
- Stop any nonconforming process(es) which may affect poor quality or customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other team members such as engineers, buyers, finance, quality, and other departments to manage and ensure the workflow is followed for engineering changes and the approval process.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree in the Sciences or similar field at an accredited institution the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience with Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM), Document Control and ISO standards.
- Basic understanding of Infor Visual and ERP tools advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with but not limited to U.S export control regulations.
