Fiber Lab Technician

To strengthen our team in the fiber laboratory—also on a part-time basis—we are looking for the following position to start immediately: Technician / Physics Laboratory Assistant (B.Sc.) / Physics Technician (B. Eng.) / Physical-Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Assembly and packaging of optical fiber cables
  • Splicing of special fibers, including photonic crystal fibers
  • Manufacture of fiber end caps
  • Optimization and validation of manufacturing processes
  • Monitoring and precise documentation of manufacturing parameters for quality assurance
  • Quality control of fiber products

Your profile:

  • You have completed technical training, e.g. as a technician, physics laboratory assistant, or physical-technical assistant (m/f/d), or have comparable, in-depth professional experience.
  • You are distinguished by your ability to familiarize yourself with complex topics independently and always work in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
  • You are highly motivated and driven by a desire to continuously develop your skills
  • You enjoy working in production and at the same time strive to take on exciting development tasks
  • Excellent written and spoken German skills are a given for you
