Pureon – New State-of-the-Art Polishing Slurries

OPW – This water-soluble, ready-to-use diamond suspension is designed for the final polishing of optical components, ceramics, and metals. OPW suspensions are optimized for highest performance of finishing processes from 3 micron down to 0.1 micron. Thanks to stabilized formulation, OPW is not only user-friendly but also environmentally friendly and easy to clean.

Ultra-Sol™ OPTIQ PRO – High-purity cerium oxide slurry designed for the precision polishing of borosilicate glass, fused silica, glass ceramics, and other optical materials. OPTIQ PRO utilizes an enhanced manufacturing technique and features a tightly distributed 0.45µm cerium oxide particle in a unique suspension that minimizes settling and facilitates cleaning. In addition, the slurry is highly concentrated to provide maximum flexibility through on‑site dilution.

Ultra-Sol™ C100 – Designed to meet the demanding requirements of Precision Polishing applications, including super-polishing. Ultra-Sol™ C100 features a tightly distributed 75nm cerium oxide abrasive. Leveraging decades of micronizing experience in the diamond world, Pureon is able to control the C100 with high precision. The product is designed for super polish applications where roughness values below one angstrom are required with exceptionally low scratch-dig specifications. This slurry is compatible with pitch and polishing pads.

Ultra-Sol™ AlumaGem – A novel blend of alumina and diamond abrasives which has proven itself to be an excellent polishing agent for precision optics materials and IR crystals. This combination yields excellent scratch-dig free surfaces material removal rates by selecting the appropriate-sized diamond product. Offered in a variety of particle sizes allowing users to tune removal rate and surface finish performance as needed. Pureon has extensive experience manufacturing multi-particle blends that exhibit synergistic properties, and AlumaGem continues that legacy into the optics market.
