Head of Software Development and Equipment Controls at Eulitha
August, 2023: Eulitha is a Swiss technology company developing advanced lithography equipment for emerging applications in photonics. Our breakthrough technologies enable development and production of revolutionary devices in fields such as Augmented Reality (AR), telecommunication and biological sensors. We work with global technology leaders in developing new solutions for future near-eye displays, smart phones, flat panel displays, lasers and similar devices.
In this position, you will be responsible for leading software development and integration with hardware for controlling complex photolithography systems. You will be a key director of activities between the software team and hardware, metrology, testing, mechanical design, assembly and customer support teams. You will be working with the CEO and as part of a dynamic, international team with expertise areas in photonics, mechanics, lithography and semiconductor processing. You will interact with global technology firms and provide solutions that shape the future of emerging high tech products.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, design, and coding of software for controlling automatic lithography equipment, based on high-level specifications, with state-of-the-art industry practices
- Direct software team activities and coordinate with other departments for successful integration
- Set, maintain, and communicate timelines for new software builds. Prioritize features and capabilities to deliver for internal and external customers
- Manage and develop necessary skill sets and infrastructure in the software team to proactively address equipment control needs
- Guide and work with the team in a hands on way in development, verification and troubleshooting of various equipment control functions
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current industry practices and trends and apply to development of Eulitha products
- Ensure appropriate record keeping and maintenance of software and documentation for different versions of Eulitha equipment
Profile
- BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering field
- 3+ years’ demonstrated track record as a technical lead responsible for software development for equipment control
- Experience with software builds for automatic semiconductor processing equipment
- Fluency with Python and TwinCAT coding languages
- Preferably, fluency with C++, C# sharp coding languages
- Ability to troubleshoot core logic and module-level software
- Pragmatic, detail-oriented and hands-on approach that can work through ambiguity
- Positive, can-do attitude and passion for developing great engineering solutions
- Fluency in English
